The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is a 1,800-acre zoo located in San Pasqual Valley, California, near Escondido.
It is the county’s largest tourist attraction.
It houses a wide range of endangered and wild animals, including species from Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.
The park is located in semi-arid conditions.
One of its most distinctive features is the Africa Tram which explores the vast African exhibits.
These enclosures are free-range and can house animals such as antelopes.
