The Natural Bridge Caverns is the largest commercial cavern in Texas.
The cavern’s entrance is named after the natural limestone slab bridge measuring 60 feet.
The span was suspended after a sinkhole below it collapsed.
The caverns can be found in the Texas Hill Country, near San Antonio, Texas.
They are next to Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch, which is a drive-through safari park for wildlife.
The caverns are home to many unique geological formations and speleothems.
The cave’s temperature is 21 degrees Celsius (70°F) all year and the humidity rate is constant 99 percent.
The public tour’s deepest point is 180 feet below the surface.
However, undeveloped areas of cavern reach depths up to 230 feet.
