Description
The Nasher Sculpture Center, a museum in Dallas, Texas that houses the Raymond and Patsy Nasher collections of contemporary and modern sculpture, was opened in 2003.
It is situated on a site of 2.4 acres adjacent to the Dallas Museum of Art, in the Dallas Arts District.
Raymond and Patsy Nasher started collecting sculpture in 1950s.
They assembled a large collection of masterpieces by Harry Bertoia and Constantin Brancusi as well as Alexander Calder, Willem de Kooning and Willem de Kooning.
