The Museum of Science and Industry (MSI), a science museum, is located in Chicago, Illinois.
It is located in Jackson Park, in Hyde Park between Lake Michigan and The University of Chicago.
It is located in the former Palace of Fine Arts, which was built during the 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition.
It was initially endowed by Julius Rosenwald, Sears, Roebuck and Company president and Philanthropist.
It was later supported by the Commercial Club of Chicago and inaugurated in 1933 during Century of Progress Exposition.
