Balboa Park, a 1,200-acre park that is part of an historic urban cultural park, is located in San Diego, California.
It includes open space areas, natural vegetation zones and green belts, as well as walking paths and walking trails.
There are also museums, theaters and the San Diego Zoo.
The park’s boundaries also include many recreational facilities, gift shops, and restaurants.
The park’s site was established in 1835 and is one of the oldest places in the United States that is open to public recreation.
The Parks and Recreation Department of San Diego manages Balboa Park.
