Description
Aquarium of the Bay is a San Francisco public aquarium.
It is located at The Embarcadero, Beach Street, just outside Pier 39.
The aquarium focuses on local aquatic animals, including those from the San Francisco Bay and nearby rivers and watersheds.
Since 2005, the Aquarium has been focusing its efforts on climate action and ocean conservation locally and globally.
It is one of seven institutions that make up Bay Ecotarium, the largest watershed conservation group in the Bay Area.
